On 15 August 2026, Khanyisa High School had the privilege of hosting a memorable Rugby Day

The day brought together 14 teams, including 10 boys' teams and 4 girls' teams, who competed with determination, skill and sportsmanship.

The spectators were treated to exciting rugby, with more than 20 tries scored, conversions successfully completed and penalties kicked.

A special word of appreciation goes to our sponsors, NEDBANK, EDUVOS, ITEC WILD COAST, NASHUA and Smiley Dolphins, whose generosity contributed significantly to the success of the event. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the referees, match officials, first aiders, security personnel, caterers, commentators, prefects, teachers, administrators and every member of the Khanyisa team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Events of this magnitude require commitment, teamwork and sacrifice, and your contribution did not go unnoticed.

To all the participating schools, thank you for joining us and contributing to the spirit of the day. We hope that the relationships established through this event will continue to grow. Most importantly, to our Khanyisa learners, we are proud of you. You represented your school with courage, energy and determination.
