[Borrowed!]Let’s choose kindness, patience, and grace. ❤️

We never really know what someone else is carrying behind the smile we see.

A teacher may be giving their students everything they have while quietly feeling exhausted. A parent may be doing their very best while carrying worries no one else knows about. Someone who seems perfectly fine may simply be trying to make it through a difficult day.

We ask teachers to show care, patience, understanding, and empathy toward their students every day. But teachers deserve that same care too. They deserve to be understood when they are tired, appreciated when their work goes unnoticed, and reminded that they don’t have to be perfect to make a difference.

A little kindness can mean more than we realize. A simple “thank you,” a little understanding, or choosing not to judge can make someone feel seen.

So let’s give each other the same compassion we hope to receive.

We are all carrying something. We are all doing our best. And sometimes, what someone needs most is simply a little grace. 🤍

💜 Vela School Stands Against GBV
Violence against women and girls has no place in our society. We stand in support of the women of South Africa and those affected by gender-based violence.
We will not remain silent. We call for justice, accountability and an end to violence.
Let us teach our children to choose respect, kindness, dignity and equality.
🟣 STOP GBV. SPEAK UP. STAND TOGETHER.
