🌟 Grade 7 Career Day 2026 🌟

Today, our Grade 7 learners had the opportunity to explore a variety of exciting career paths during their Life Orientation Career Day. From meeting professionals to learning about future opportunities, the day was filled with inspiration, curiosity, and valuable life lessons.

🏉⚽ ONDINI HIGH SCHOOL & UIS SHINE AT THE MAYORAL CUP! ⚽🏉

It was a memorable tournament for both the Ondini High School Rugby 10s Team and the combined Ulundi Independent School (UIS) & Ondini High School (OHS) Ladies Football Team, who proudly represented their schools at the Mayoral Cup.

The Rugby 10s team demonstrated outstanding determination, discipline, teamwork, and commitment throughout the competition. After a hard-fought match against James Nxumalo High School, they narrowly missed out on victory after conceding a try in the final minute of the game. Despite the setback, they secured an impressive 2nd-place finish locally. 🥈🏉

The UIS & OHS Ladies Football Team also showcased exceptional talent, growth, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Their dedication, consistent training, and fighting spirit earned them a well-deserved 2nd-place finish, highlighting the progress they have made as a team. 🥈⚽

These achievements are a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and commitment of all the players and coaching staff. Thank you for representing your schools with pride and excellence.

✈️ Aviation Careers Event
On 21 August 2026, fifteen learners from Ulundi Independent School who excelled in Natural Science and Mathematics attended an Aviation Careers Event at Manguosuthu Airport. Learners explored exciting career opportunities in aviation, enjoyed refreshments, and received new school shoes.

🚦✨ We proudly hosted a Road Safety Awareness event with the support of SAPS Ulundi, ensuring all drivers were reminded of the importance of safe driving and keeping our school roads secure.

👧👦 Our learners took the lead, demonstrating vital road safety practices and showing how small actions can make a big difference in protecting lives.
