Our Grade 6βs learned by doing! For Natural Sciences they built models of a full tree system with roots, soil, trunk, branches, and leaves, and explained how each part works together to keep the tree alive.

Our Grade 9s became urban planners. For Geography, they had to design their own settlement from scratch - choosing the location, resources, transport routes, and land use based on what theyβve learned about site and situation.
Lots of maps, models, and big ideas on display. Some went for coastal fishing villages and others built inland farming towns. The best part? Seeing them explain why their settlement would work, using real geographical factors like water supply, climate, and accessibility.

Learning that math has power! β‘ Grade 7 learners used LEGO to visualize exponents and see numbers grow.

Our Grade 9 learners explored different ways to measure volume for their practical lesson. ππ¬
They measured the volume of liquids using measuring cylinders, calculated the volume of regular objects using mathematical formulas, and used water displacement to find the volume of irregular objects.
This experiment connects to the famous βEureka!β moment of Archimedes, who discovered the principle of water displacement while taking a bath. When he noticed the water level rise as he got in, he realised it could be used to measure volume and reportedly ran through the streets shouting βEureka!β, meaning βI have found it!β.
