🌟 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY AT DALROSE FULL-SERVICE SCHOOL! 🌟

From beautifully wrapped sweets and delicious food parcels to mouth-watering cakes and refreshing ice creams β€” our Entrepreneurship Day had something for everyone! 🍰🍦🍬

Each of our learners truly put their heart and soul into this academic activity. Today was not only about selling delicious products, but about learning valuable life skills.

Our learners gained practical experience in business, making a profit, identifying target markets, attracting potential customers, teamwork and communication. πŸ’Ό

From our dedicated educators to our supportive parents and enthusiastic learners, today was an absolute success! There were smiles, excitement, laughter and, of course, lots of happy customers! πŸ˜‹

πŸ‘ A HUGE THANK YOU goes to each and every learner and their group for bringing their best products and ideas to Entrepreneurship Day.

But most importantly, we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our amazing parents. ❀️
Your unwavering support towards our learners and our school truly showed today. Thank you for the time you took to assist your children in creating their goodies, for the effort you put in, and for the funds and resources you invested to help make today such a tremendous success.

Without your support, today would not have been possible. We appreciate you more than words can say! πŸ™β€οΈ

🌟 To our Grade 7 learners: We are exceptionally proud of you! Your teamwork, creativity, commitment and productivity throughout the day were truly commendable. You worked together, supported one another and made the day a memorable one.

You are all exceptional! ⭐

πŸŽ‰ WELL DONE, DALROSE! πŸŽ‰

What a fantastic and successful Entrepreneurship Day!

We are proud of each and every one of you! β€οΈπŸ‘

β€œEvery child deserves the opportunity to discover the joy and power of reading.”

As student teachers, Ruby de Vos & Nathlyn Johannes had the privilege of introducing our reading programme at Dalrose Full Service School.

Their goal was to create a welcoming and supportive reading space where learners could develop their reading skills while also building their confidence.

They cleaned up and prepared an area at the school and transformed it into a space where learners could read, learn and feel comfortable.

Reading is important because it opens doors to knowledge, communication and new opportunities. More importantly, they wanted our learners to understand that every small achievement matters. Seeing a learner recognise a word, read it correctly or become excited about reading made them realise just how meaningful this programme could be.

This experience was especially special because of the wonderful support they received from Dalrose Full Service School. The school supported them in making use of the area they had cleaned and allowed them the opportunity to work directly with the learners.

As student teachers, it made them incredibly happy to see learners becoming more confident as they read and recognised words. What might have seem like a small achievement, such as a learner recognising one word, meant so much to them because they could see the confidence it gave them.

These moments reminded them and us as a school that reading is not only about books and wordsβ€”it is also about helping learners believe in themselves and feel proud of what they can accomplish.

They are truly grateful for the opportunity to give back to the school and to play a small part in supporting our learners’ reading journeys. This experience taught them that positive change can begin with something as simple as cleaning up a space, providing books, giving encouragement and taking the time to help a learner.

They would like to thank Dalrose Full Service School for supporting them throughout this initiative.

If anyone would still like to contribute or donate towards the reading programme, your support would be greatly appreciated and will help them continue creating meaningful reading opportunities for our learners. There hope is that every learner will continue to grow in confidence, one word and one page at a time.

Proverbs 4:7 (NIV): β€œThe beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.”

Thank you to both Ruby and Nathlyn for this huge project and for creating this beautiful learning environment for our learners .

Your dedication and effort to this project is one that Dalrose will always be proud of .

🌟 LEAVING A LEGACY OF LEARNING πŸ“šβœ¨

We are extremely proud of our 4th-year students, Ruby de Vos & Nathlyn Johannes, for their incredible dedication, commitment and outstanding hard work.

What was once a classroom/store room has been completely transformed into a beautiful and functional space where learning can truly take place.

Through their vision, creativity and perseverance, they have created a wonderful library that will benefit our learners for years to come. πŸ“–β€οΈ

We are incredibly proud of you both and grateful for the lasting impact you have made at our school.
Thank you, Ruby & Nathlyn, for leaving our school a little better than you found it. πŸ’™πŸ‘πŸΌ
