We are immensely proud of our 13 talented spellers from Grades 1–7 and the dedicated teachers who represented our school at the Sanlam WOW Spelling Festival! 📚✨

The WOW Spelling Festival, organised by Stellenbosch University’s Words Open Worlds (WOW) initiative, is the largest school spelling competition in South Africa. 🇿🇦

Our students showcased exceptional language skills, determination, confidence, and sportsmanship throughout every round. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and commitment! 👏🏼

Yesterday our learners were spoiled by Kelloggs. 🍜 With a bowl of warm noodles to kickstart their morning.

The learners absolutely enjoyed it and as a school we are truly grateful for the visit from the Kelloggs Team .

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Grade R learner, Sinovuyo Thomson. 💔

Sinovuyo was a cherished member of Dalrose Full-Service School, and her loss is deeply felt by learners, educators, staff, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. 🤍🕊️ May her beautiful bright smile shine on in heaven amongst the angels 👼.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Thomson family and loved ones. May they find comfort, strength, and peace in the memories they shared with her. 🙏🏽🤍
