⚠️ DAMAGING WINDS WARNING | LEVEL 1 🌬️
The South African Weather Service has issued a Level 1 Impact-Based Warning for damaging winds, valid from 11:00 until 21:00 on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

Strong winds, with gusts of approximately 80–95 km/h, are expected along the south coast, including Nelson Mandela Bay, due to a tight pressure gradient ahead of an approaching cold front.

🛑 SAFETY ADVISORY:
• Secure structures and loose objects.
• Park vehicles away from trees and tall objects that could fall.
• Motorists should be alert for fallen objects and sudden crosswinds.
• Small boats should seek shelter in harbours.

Residents are urged to remain vigilant and take the necessary precautions as strong winds are expected.

🌸 WELCOME TO TERM 4, MME FAMILIES! 🌸
Dear MME Parents 🤍 I hope all my precious kiddies are well rested, refreshed and ready for a fun-filled Term 4! 🥰✨

We are so excited to welcome everyone back! This term is always such a special one at MME, and we have lots of exciting learning, fun activities, special days and beautiful memories planned for our kiddies. From our Sports Day to our Concert and Graduation, there is so much to look forward to! 🎨🏃‍♀️🎶🎓

Please take note of the following important information:

📚 Parent/Teacher Discussions
Parent/teacher discussions will take place this week should any parents wish to schedule a meeting regarding their child’s progress. Please feel free to communicate directly with your child’s class teacher to arrange a suitable time.

🏃‍♀️ MME Family Fun Race Day
Our Family Fun Race Day has been moved and will now take place after exams. We would love for our kiddies’ siblings, families and friends to be able to join us, support them and enjoy the day together. A new date will be communicated soon.

⭐ Special Term 4 Dates to Remember
Please keep an eye on our important dates for Sports Day, Graduation, Concert, Report Collection and School Closure. These are some of the biggest highlights of our MME year, and we cannot wait to celebrate them with our little ones and families! 🎉

📝 2027 ENROLMENT HAS COMMENCED
Parents whose kiddies will be returning to MME in 2027 are kindly reminded that a new application form must be completed.

Unfortunately, we are unable to automatically keep spaces aside for current learners, as placements will be done on a first-come, first-served basis. We therefore encourage parents to please communicate with your child’s class teacher as soon as possible and submit the necessary application forms to secure your child’s place for 2027.

Dear Parents, Families & Friends of MME ❤️
With the weather forecast for this weekend not looking quite as sunny as we had hoped 🌧️, we have therefore made the decision to move our MME Family Fun Day to Term 4.

But please don’t be disappointed! 🥰 We’re choosing to see this as an opportunity to make our Fun Day even BIGGER, BETTER and MORE FUN! 🎉🎈

A little extra time means more planning, more excitement, more activities and hopefully an even bigger crowd to share this special day with us! 🙌🏼
