INSPIRATION, ENCOURAGEMENT & EXCELLENCE AT SOLOMON MAHLANGU HIGH SCHOOL

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the SADTU Branch Executive for visiting Solomon Mahlangu High School and sharing words of wisdom, encouragement and hope with our learners.

The visit was especially meaningful as we celebrated Athandile Tshotyana, who proudly represented our school and the Eastern Cape at the International Science Fair in Johannesburg, where she achieved an outstanding Bronze Medal.

Cde Loro shared an inspiring message with Athandile, encouraging her to continue working hard and reminding her that this achievement is only the beginning of her journey.

He also encouraged other learners to believe in themselves and work towards their dreams. Today it may be Athandile, but tomorrow it could be YOU! One day, other learners will also have the opportunity to participate in competitions at provincial, national and international level and bring home medals for themselves, their families and our school.

As a school, we believe that every learner has potential, and with hard work, discipline, support and determination, great things are possible.

Thank you to the SADTU Branch Executive, and especially Cde Loro, for taking the time to motivate and inspire our learners. Your words of encouragement give hope and remind our young people that their dreams are achievable.

Solomon Mahlangu High School nurturing talent, inspiring excellence and building future leaders.

WELCOME BACK TO SOLOMON MAHLANGU HIGH SCHOOL!

As we begin the final term of the 2026 academic year, we warmly welcome all our learners, educators, support staff, parents, SGB members and the entire Solomon Mahlangu High School community back to school.

This is the last lap of the year and the way we finish matters!

To all our learners who have performed well during the first three terms:

Congratulations! Your hard work, discipline, commitment and determination have brought you this far. Do not relax now. Keep pushing, stay focused and finish the year even stronger. Your success is an inspiration to others.

To those who did not achieve the results they were hoping for:

Do not allow one disappointing result to define you. A setback is not the end of your journey; it is an opportunity to learn, improve and come back stronger. Identify where you struggled, ask for help, work harder and believe in yourself. There is still time to change the story.

To our Grade 12 learners:

This is your final stretch. Every lesson, every revision session, every assignment and every hour of preparation counts. Stay focused. Stay disciplined. Believe in your abilities and finish strong!

To our dedicated educators and staff:

Thank you for your continued commitment, patience and sacrifices throughout the year. Let us continue supporting our learners and giving them the guidance they need to reach their full potential.

To our parents and guardians:

Your support remains an important part of our learners’ success. Let us work together to encourage discipline, attendance, studying and positive behaviour as we enter this final term.

SOLOMON MAHLANGU HIGH SCHOOL LET US FINISH WHAT WE STARTED!

One term. One opportunity. One final push.
Let us make the final term our strongest term yet! 🔥📚🏆

✨Believe. Work. Persevere. Achieve. ✨
