Tonight we celebrate courage, grit, pushing boundaries and making memories 🤩
In order to manage an Adventure Race you need Marshalls to run logistics, stay awake all hours of the day and bring energy when no one has any left.
Here is some insight to what our Warrior Marshalls got up to during the Warriors Adventure Challenge 🤩
Somewhere out there at who knows what time….
Update from the team on Leg 5
a 10km trek.
At this point they have been going 20hours with no sleep 😴
They have done :
10km cycle
22km trek
25 km cycle 7 km paddle
After this they have :
7km paddle
20km cycle
Eat your bananas!!!!
Great advice from Scott regarding cramps.
Banana is also fresh food and helps keep flavor fatigue away.
This is last night (3Aug 18:30 SA time) before taking on the 25km cycle.
On a normal day a 25km cycle takes the average person around 2-3 hours of cycling.
What the team doesnt know yet - due to the time they have been awake and that they have been moving non-stop for 9 hours already… this cycle will take much longer.
This is where the real mental grit comes to show. Pushing through the night, cold, dark and sleep deprivation.
While you were sleeping last night….. the Warriors were out there 🥶
Warriors Adventure Challenge 2026 started 3 August 9am SA time.
Leg 1 - 10km cycle
Leg 2 - 22km trek
Leg 3 - 25km cycle
Leg 4 - 7km paddle
Leg 5 - 10km trek
Leg 6 - 7km paddle
Leg 7 - 20km cycle
This was at 18:12pm SA time after completing Leg 2 🥳
Stay tuned for more 🚨
✨ From flour to finished pasta! 🍝
Our Gap Year Warriors recently rolled up their sleeves for an unforgettable pasta-making workshop in Johannesburg, where they learned the art of creating fresh pasta from scratch.
More than just a cooking class, the experience was about creativity and patience. It was incredible to see our Warriors learning new skills, sharing plenty of laughs, and enjoying the delicious rewards of their hard work together.
Here’s to making memories, building confidence, and embracing every opportunity to learn—one plate of pasta at a time! ❤️
