June 16 Youth Day Tribute 🇿🇦

One of our Mega Stars from Grade 7 proudly pays tribute to the spirit of June 16. As we commemorate the courageous youth who stood up to make their voices heard, we also celebrate the young people of today who continue to dream big, work hard, and strive to turn those dreams into reality.

May the legacy of the youth of 1976 inspire every learner to lead with courage, determination, and hope.

We are proud to announce that our two choirs, Grade 5–7 African Choir and Folklore Choir, will be representing the Ekurhuleni Region at the Provincial SASCE Competition.

As the competition will take place on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, and due to the limited preparation time following the public holidays, the Choir Team kindly requests all learners who are part of these two choirs, accompanied by their parents/guardians, to come to school on Tuesday, 16 June 2026, at 08:00.

Purpose of the meeting:

* Parents/guardians will sign the required consent forms.
* Learners will attend a rehearsal session in preparation for the Provincial Competition.

Your support and cooperation are highly appreciated as we prepare our talented learners to proudly represent our school and region.

Please note that our last choir has now departed from the competition venue and is on its way back to school. 🚌✨

We thank all our learners, educators, and parents for their continued support and encouragement throughout the day. We wish them a safe and pleasant journey home.
