Neos Christian School is situated in the South-West part of the Limpopo Province, on a game farm. The schools' campus is conveniently located approximately two hours from Pretoria and two and a half hours from Johannesburg (Gauteng). The campus is situated in a quiet farming neighborhood 300 meters from the Crocodile River. Neos Christian School has boarding facilities available that embraces a “h

ome away from home” feel. With a beautiful sports field, the campus has an abundant outdoor play area presenting students with activities such as fishing, horse riding, and hiking. As a preschool to high school campus, the classroom buildings create separate spaces for the preschool, primary school and high school areas. While students are able to participate in cross-divisional activities from time to time, each division has separate age appropriate programs and facilities.

prestasie

Thabazimbi – Op Saterdag 18 Augustus het twee broers, Botha du Plessis (links op die foto) en Janssen du Plessis (regs), saam hul jonger suster Gretchen du Plessis deelgeneem aan die Limpopo lugggeweer kampioenskappe vir die o/14 sporter afdeling te Tzaneen.

Ouboet Botha (14 jaar) en jonger broer Janssen (13 jaar) het skoonskip gemaak in al die onderskeie afdelings – en beide is weer gekies vir die provinsiale span wat gaan deelneem aan die Suid-Afrikaanse skole luggeweer kampioenskappe in Oktober te Newcastle.

Sussie Gretchen (10 jaar) het die toekenning ontvang vir die skut wat die beste vordering getoon het deur die jaar.

Broers van Neos presteer by SA Luggeweer skyfskiet Kampioenskappe

Thabazimbi – Janssen en Botha du Plessis het die Limpopo provinsie verteenwoordig by die SANSSU kampioenskappe te Newcastle vanaf 1-5 Oktober.

Die Du Plessis broers is leerlinge aan die Neos Christelike Skool te Thabazimbi
Beide díe jong manne het aan die o/14 sporter afdeling deelgeneem. Jonger broer Jansen het ‘n goeie gemiddeld behaal. Ouboet Botha het puik presteer as die enigste skut van Limpopo wie medaljes ontvang het.

Hy het ‘n silwer medalje ontvang vir drie poisiesie, in die lê, kniel en staan kategorie, ‘n brons medalje vir sy algehele punte saamgesnoer, en is ook aangewys in derde posisie vir die o/14 SA Luggeweer skyfskiet kategorie.

Neos wil graag van die geleentheid gebruik maak om al die borge te bedank vir hul ondersteuning regdeur die jaar. Aan Christus al die eer!

Oud Neos hoofseun- PUK top presteerder

Thabazimbi/ Potchefstroom – Johan van Deventer, voormalige hoofseun van Neos Christelike skool, is pas deur die Noord Wes Universiteit van Potchefstroom aangewys as die top honneurs student vir sy graad as Geoktrooieerde Rekenmeester op 18 September.

Johan het sy skoolloopbaan in 2013 by Neos voltooi en was een van die top 10 matrikulante in Suid-Afrika. Hy was ook die top student in Limpopo met sy 10 onderskeidings in bg. jaar. Johan is ‘n merkwaardige student wat ‘n gebalanseerde jongmens lewensuitkyk het. Hy het op skool ook uitgeblink op kulturele sowel as sportgebied.

Van sy hamergooi rekords staan steeds in Limpopo sowel as by SACSSA staan.

Met sy toekenning as top student uit bykans 180 ander Geoktrooieerde Rekenmeester honneurs graad studente, het hy ook ‘n ABSA toekenning losgeslaan.

Tydens ‘n oproep wat Mnr. le Roux, hoof van Neos, aan Johan gemaak het ter gelukwense, was Johan se nederige, beskeie reaksie: “Dankie oom André, dit is maar net genade en dankie vir oom se oproep!”

Die gemeenskap is nie trots op hierdie pragtige, jong boerseun nie, maar is saam met hom in nederigheid dankbaar dat hy sy Godgegewe talente en potensiaal maksimaal benut. Welgedaan Johan!
