A stop beneath the twin baobabs became a lesson shaped by shared experience.

Students swapped stories of baobabs they had encountered before, explored some of the many ways these remarkable trees have been used over generations, and shared the folklore attached to them.

There are nights at college you don’t forget.

The sleepout swaps beds for sleeping bags and walls for open air. One night under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the reserve, and a very different kind of classroom.

Definitely one for the memory bank. ✨

Learning to guide means learning to notice what others might walk straight past.

A track in the sand, a change in the wind, the call of a bird somewhere ahead.

Every guide starts somewhere.

Before the game drives, walking trails and unforgettable sightings, there are hours spent asking questions, studying, debating, and learning from those who've spent years in the field.

Because the best guides never stop learning.

Not your average campus.

From above, it's easy to see just how closely connected our students are to the landscapes they're preparing to work in.

From students to guides. πŸŽ“βž‘οΈπŸ˜

The assessments are done, the certificates are in hand, and a new chapter begins.

Our graduates have spent months learning, growing, challenging themselves, and creating friendships that will last far beyond the classroom.

Today we celebrate everything they've achieved. Tomorrow, they'll be out there turning knowledge into experience and passion into purpose.

Congratulations, the adventure is only just beginning!

Robyn's journey began with art.

During her time as an Artist in Residence at Lion Sands, she spent her days observing the details, stories and connections that make the bush such a powerful place to be. The more time she spent here, the more she wanted to understand it.

That curiosity eventually led her to MORE Field Guide College, where she's now learning the skills, knowledge and responsibility that come with guiding.

It's a path we love to see; a willingness to learn and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
