It's day 3 for the grade 7 s, as they are seating for their final exam.Parents, let's encourage them with the following:

1. Look at their timetable and encourage them to revise the exam they will write the following day.
2. Let them get their 8 hour sleep.
3. Drink lots of water and eat healthy
4. Have their stationary to the exam room.
5. Bring the textbook of what they will be writing, if it's lost the parent can communicate with the class teacher.
6. Above all, pray for them!

GDE DISMISSES PYEI INTAKE AS SCAM.

The Gauteng education department has cautioned members of the public, particularly the unemployed youth from entertaining the PYEI posts in circulation.

Education spokesperson Steve Mabona has through a digital forum shared the posts in circulation and has labeled them as fake news.

The posts invite the unemployed youth to apply for an apparent phase 5 of the PYEI program and requires important personal information from applicants.

The education department has warned against applying to these posts largely shared and circulated on WhatsApp.

REQUIREMENTS:

- You must be a South African resident with a valid RSA ID book or card or valid passport, or you must have a valid work permit;

- You must live no further than 5km from the school where you will be employed, unless you will be working at a farm school, when this will be extended to 30km.

- You do not have a criminal record.
