Marriage is God's institution but a war against the kingdom of darkness. If there is anything the devil hates, it's a Godly marriage hence he uses his characteristics and behaviours to fight marriages. If you analyze the things which causes marriages to fail, they all come from the kingdom of darkness.

Married couples and those coming into marriage should be advised that, once you choose marriage, you have launched a war against the devil. The devil will always tempt to possess or influence you with one of the characteristics or behaviours from his kingdom of darkness.

In a healthy marriage, there is no such thing as 'my words are final.' All opinions, ideas, and rules are debatable with love and respect.

A wise women knows very well that 50/50 attitude doesn't exist in marriage. However, there are men who are lost when it comes to leadership in marriage.

These men don't lead well as heads; their wives feel oppressed by their own husbands, hence they end up becoming rebels in marriage.

Men, please let's lead our wives and kids well so that they can learn positive traits from us. You can't lead by bullying and intimadation, that's not leadership, it's abuse.

Husbands: You’re not the boss. You’re the priest of your home.

God's design for marriage is headship, which promotes order, protection, and flourishing at home, not a hierarchical structure for dominance, but rather a responsibility that requires sacrifice.

The head can’t say to the body “I don’t need you.” They’re one. The head feels the pain of the body first. When the toe is hit, the head responds.

So headship means: “Your pain is my problem. Your growth is my assignment. Your safety is my responsibility.

Headship Crisis is when:
1. Abdication:
- Men go passive. No vision, no prayer, no direction in Marriage.

2. Abuse:
Men use “headship” to control vs serving by leading.

3. Confusion:
Culture says vs Bible says “different roles, same value”.

(2) . Develop a culture of appreciating each other.

(7) . Celebrate each other's birthdays, even if it's just buying a sweet.

(8) . Choose each other above everyone else.

(9) . Gossip together, making each other your gossip partner.

People have different lifestyles or life approaches, and there's nothing wrong with marrying someone with a different lifestyle as long as you'll be able to keep up with it.

There are women who like partying and drinking alcohol with friends. If that lifestyle is too much for you to keep up with as a husband, your peace in the marriage is already compromised.
