Moms and Babes Tableview

Our Story

Moms and Babes Workshop is a well known franchise owned and facilitated by Vanessa Harmse in the Table View area.

This weekly play–activity programme was developed by a leading Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist specifically for babies in the 2 to 12 month age group. The workshops are offered once a week for 8 weeks during the school terms.

Each 1.5hr class includes: easy to do exercises for mom and baby to encourage the development of the core muscles; eye muscles, eye focus and eye-hand co-ordination needed to achieve motor milestones; guided play and exploration with age appropriate equipment; stimulation of the senses and pleasure of movement by listening and moving to music, rhymes and songs; toy making for the Tiny Babes and Babes classes; textured play and ‘feely’ experiences to educate the sense of touch; and of course, time to chat to each other in a fun, professional and social environment!
