Hug-a-bugs Nursery School

I am looking to sell all my play/pre school equipment preferably all to one person. It would be ideal for a person who is starting up a school. I have books, games, construction toys, fantasy play, fine motor equipment etc. Please DM if interested or want details. Situated in Tableview, Cape Town.

Teacher Taryn has re-opened the playroom for the winter holidays. If you're looking for some fun for your little one we are offering games,activities, arts and crafts, movement and music as well as special story times daily. Lots of relaxed free playtime too!

Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm.
Cost : R250 per day
Ages: 2 to 6 years

How cute and clever. We are learning about the earth and these 2 took our flashcards of forests, deserts, countryside etc and matched them to the theme wall pictures. There weren't enough pictures so they said I should count the flashcards! Now I know they pay attention at circle time 🤓

This week we learned about the city we live in - Cape Town. The boys made a city during art activities. If you look carefully you will see Table mountain, Robben Island, the penguin Beach (aka Boulders) the lighthouse (aka Cape Point), the cable car and Kirstenbosch gardens. My favorite part is the beach house the boys made for me and next to my beach house, all the boys beach houses- my new neighbors 😄

This is so special. The bigger guy in this photo started at Hug-a-bugs before he turned 2 and was the youngest in the class. He is now one of the older children and is helping our newest Hug-a-bug put on his apron and showing what to do for today's art activity 😍it is such a honor as a teacher to see my children go full circle. They have their chance to learn and teach and nurture .

When my little students ask how old I am, I am always honest with them. Today one of my children says "Teacher Taryn, when I am 46 I am going to be a police officer " 🤣

Aw, it's always sad when school holidays come to an end. The holiday Hug-a-bugs and I really enjoyed a very relaxed, warm and fun filled holiday school. We ended with the velveteen rabbit. But end of holidays means beginning of a new school term and it was wonderful to see all my littles back at school today.
