We believe in Mathematical excellence from an early age.

At MathTrix, we believe confidence in maths must start early. 🌱🧠

That first little “I can do this!” becomes the foundation children build on throughout primary school, and carry with them into high school. 💭📚🚀

Build the confidence early. Watch the learner grow. 💙

🧠✨ The biggest progress doesn’t come from talent, it comes from confidence built on solid steps. 🧱

When a student understands the process, knows the steps and begins to trust what they’re doing, everything changes. 📈💡

At MathTrix, we build confidence, one concept at a time. Because real mastery creates real confidence. 💪📚

Daisy knows exactly what she’s working on.

Dean… isn’t so sure.

👋💫 Hey! It’s me, Daisy!

Ready for another Math Building Block? 🧱

Today we’re putting Number Bonds into practice!

Instead of solving 91 ÷ 7 all at once, let’s split it into 70 and 21, two friendly numbers that divide easily.

See? One building block can make a tricky question feel simple. 💡

Remember…

Learning a maths concept is only the beginning.

The real magic happens when you recognise the opportunity to use it.

✨ Think. Solve. Rise.

👋 Until next time… Keep building! 🧱💙

One of my favourite sounds in a classroom is…

“A-ha!” 💡

That moment when confusion turns into understanding.

I’ve learned those moments rarely happen by accident.

More often than not…

they happen when we find the missing building block. 🧱

Maybe you were never bad at maths.

Maybe you were just one A-ha moment away.

💭 What’s one maths topic you’ve always wished made sense?

🧱 Yesterday, we looked at subtracting two 3-digit numbers without regrouping.

Now, let’s add the next building block.

👇 Regrouping (Borrowing) from the Tens.

At first glance, it looks like a completely new method.

But is it?

Not really.

The same building blocks are still there:

🟦 Understanding place value.
🟨 Lining numbers up correctly.
🟥 Working from right to left.

Now we simply add one more building block…

🟩 Understanding that one ten can be regrouped into ten ones.

That’s all.

One extra building block.

One small step.

And suddenly, a whole new type of subtraction becomes possible.

🧱 Today’s Building Block:
Subtracting 3-Digit Numbers with Regrouping Once (Borrowing from the Tens).
