🌸 SPRING HAS SPRUNG AT SCPS! 🌸

Today we celebrated Spring Day at SCPS! It was a little wet and cold, but that could not dampen our spirits! We had so much fun with our bright, colourful outfits and delicious cupcakes. 💐🧁

As spring starts and we see the trees and flowers bloom, we are reminded to also grow into this new season.

What an honour! Sterkspruit Christian Private School was privileged to host the Eastern Cape Director General for a powerful address to our Matric Class of 2026.

We were also delighted to welcome Grade 12 learners from surrounding schools in the Sterkspruit area to share in this special occasion.

The Director General delivered an inspiring and motivating message, encouraging all our learners to stay focused, work hard, and give their best as they prepare for the final examinations. His words were truly uplifting as our matrics enter this crucial final stretch.

As the new season approaches, please remember that we are switching to summer uniform as of 1 September.

Learners may still wear their long sleeve jersey or parka on cooler mornings.

SCPS EISTEDDFOD ARTS FESTIVAL 2026

On 20 August, our learners took to the stage to showcase their incredible singing and dancing talents at the SCPS Annual Eisteddfod Arts Festival.

With confidence, enthusiasm and dedication, our learners entertained us with beautiful vocal performances and energetic dance routines. It was wonderful to see them express themselves, share their talents and enjoy every moment on stage.

We are incredibly proud of every learner who participated. Your hard work, courage and commitment truly shone through.

A special thank you to all our wonderful judges for giving their time, expertise and encouragement to our learners. A very special thank you to Miss Cartens, who travelled all the way from Aliwal North to join us and assist as a judge for the day. We truly appreciate your support and contribution to making our Eisteddfod a success.
