Exposure and Experience
The two key words in Hospitality and we strive to provide students with as much as possible at any given time. Students receive hands-on training both in the lecture room and in the day to day operations of the lodges. With this constant exposure a professional appearance and attitude becomes second nature. Extensive exposure in working corporate and exclusive functions, e

xample:
• Miss World
• Oyster festival
• World Super Bike Association
• FIFA confederation cup
• Legend Golf Launch
• Various product launched

Our students are privy to first hand experience and knowledge not only of the required study modules but also to real life situations, negotiation skills, presentation and public speaking techniques and good business ethics and practices. Our entry requirements:
•A minimum entry level of the South African school level equal to Grade 11 should have been obtained and completed prior to enrolment at L.H.S. Students busy with Grade 12 can apply by submitting the results from their last written exam.
•Prospective students that are deemed not suitable for the full time programs will have to undergo at least 6 months of short-course training through either the L.H.S or similar institutions offering an entry level training program in order to assist them with their studies at the L.H.S.
•Prospective students should be mobile and strong in their daily activities as the Food and Beverage and other aspects of the Hospitality Industry require physical heavy duty work and mental capacity.
•Prospective students should be able to converse fluently in English as this is the predominant language used in the Hospitality Industry and is also the language in which all assessments will take place and also in which all the international examinations will take place
•Prospective students will be subjected to a personal interview with LHS Management during which their interest in the field and also verbal competencies will be judged.
