𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Over the past three weeks, from 29 June to 17 July 2026, the African Doctoral Academy (ADA) Winter School brought together doctoral candidates, researchers and academics from across Africa and beyond for an intensive programme of learning, engagement and scholarly development.

Delivered in both online and in-person formats, delegates participated in courses covering quantitative and qualitative research methods, higher education teaching and learning, academic writing and publishing, entrepreneurship, mixed methods research, and the evolving role of AI in academia.

This year’s programme also included valuable collaborations with PERIPERI U at Stellenbosch University and the Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC), further strengthening our shared commitment to research capacity development across the continent.
