The Alliance Française Stellenbosch will be offering the following short French courses this August to September 🇫🇷

French Total Beginner (A0)
Learn the basics of French for everyday communication.

Dates: 17 August – 16 September
Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays
Time: 12h15–13h45
Format: Online or in person
Price: R2 850

French Intermediate (A2)
Develop your speaking, listening and communication skills while expanding your vocabulary and confidence.

Dates: 18 August – 17 September
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 12h15–13h45
Format: In person only
Price: R2 850

French Grammar (Intermediate to Advanced)
Review and strengthen your French grammar.

Dates: 20 August – 17 September
Schedule: Thursdays
Time: 16h00–17h00
Format: Online or in person
Price: R1 250

All courses require a minimum of 3 participants to commence.

Who can apply?

Citizens of South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi under the age of 30.

Which level, what, where, when?
🎓 Master’s at a university in FRANCE 🇫🇷 to commence studies in September 2027
Prioritising STEM and related social sciences fields.

Do I need to speak French to apply?
No French needed – you can study in English

What does the scholarship cover?
- Monthly living allowance
- One return flight
- Social security coverage
- Visa fee exemption
- Priority access to student accommodation

The scholarship does NOT cover tuition fees*
*Scholarship holders are exempt from tuition fees at public higher education institutions that apply the standard national tuition rates for non-European students.
