Join us on Wednesday, 24 June at 18:30 in the Rhenish Hall as the Rhenish Orchestra hosts the Hoërskool Pearson High School Jazz Band from Gqeberha for an evening of exceptional music (and warm soup!)

Look forward to performances by the Rhenish Orchestra, the Pearson High School Jazz Band, and our Senior Marimba Band, with delicious soup and bread served during the evening.

𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘: 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗘𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗳𝗼𝗱

Congratulations to Hannah Wright on her outstanding achievements at the recent Paarl Valley Eisteddfod.

Hannah, who trains at the Stellenbosch Ballet Association, was awarded Cum Laude in the Solo Ballet – Own Choice (13 Years) category and was further honoured with the prestigious Beverley Pitout Trophy for her performance.

She also performed as part of a ballet group in the Group Dance Ballet (13–14 Years) – Waltz Serenade category. The group was awarded Cum Laude and received the Winner's Trophy for their exceptional performance.

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧: 𝗛𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟮 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀!

Congratulations to our 1st, U14A and U16A hockey teams, who have all qualified for their respective Top 12 Tournaments around the country!

This marks the fifth consecutive year that all three of our A teams have qualified for these prestigious tournaments.

Our 1st team will travel to Bloemfontein, where Oranje Meisieskool will host the tournament, while our U16A team heads to Paarl for the U16 Top 12 Tournament hosted by Paarl Gimnasium.

Our U14A team will be playing on home turf, as Rhenish hosts the U14 Top 12 Hockey Tournament.

We are incredibly proud of these teams and wish them all the best! 💙

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Paul Roos Gymnasium community on the passing of Mr Brad Haller.

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧: 𝗥𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗔-𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝟭𝟳𝗔 & 𝟭𝟵𝗔 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝘀!

Well done to our Netball teams, who have collectively finished 2nd in the Cape Winelands High Schools Netball A-League, with the 17A and 19A teams finishing first in their respective age groups.

This means our 14A–19A teams will now face Parel Vallei and HTS Drostdy on 22 August to compete for the A-League title and potential promotion to the Super League.

𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘: 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝘁 “𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲” 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Congratulations to Roslyn Hebler on her outstanding performance in the 𝘖𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘪𝘱 𝘰𝘧 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘛𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘦 public speaking competition.

Roslyn achieved an impressive 92% in the first provincial round, earning her a place in the semi-finals, where she was awarded an A++ (90–100%). As a result of her excellent performances, she has been invited to compete in the National Round, which will take place in Pretoria in October.

Well done, Roslyn! We wish you all the best as you prepare for the national competition.

𝗖𝗬𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚: 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲-𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵!

Marie-Elizabeth Roos and Bailey Black recently took part in the Western Cape Schools Cycling League race held at Rhebokskloof.

Marie-Elizabeth secured 2nd place in her age category, while Bailey finished in 5th place.
