Creativity, culture and Boland College pride on full display!
Today, our Principal, Mr Charles Goodwin, joined our talented students at the Regional Art and Culture Competition as they proudly represent Boland College in Gumboot Dancing and Visual Arts.
"At Boland College, we are incredibly proud of every student who has the courage to share their talent, creativity and passion with others. Competitions like these remind us that education is about more than academics; it's about expressing who you are and celebrating our diverse cultures. We wish our students every success and know they will make us proud," said Mr Goodwin.
To our performers and artists: step onto that stage, showcase your talent, and enjoy every moment of the experience. You've already made us proud simply by being there!

It's Friday and that means it's time for a new FAQ Friday!
The TVET College sector is evolving, and with exciting new Occupational Programmes being introduced at TVET Colleges, we know many students have questions about what these changes mean for them.
This week's question is one many current students are asking:
Q: What happens to students currently enrolled in NATED N4–N6 programmes?
A: Good news! If you are already enrolled in a NATED N4–N6 programme, you will be able to complete your qualification within the approved phase-out period. There is no need to switch to a new qualification or start over.
The transition to Occupational Programmes is aimed at future intakes, while current NATED students will continue their studies according to the arrangements put in place by the Department of Higher Education and Training.
Your qualification journey remains important, and Boland College is committed to supporting students through the transition process.
Have more questions about the future of TVET programmes? Keep an eye on our page every Friday as we unpack the facts, answer your questions, and help you stay informed.

Important notice | Outstanding N4–N6 and L2–L4 certificates
Dear Boland College students and alumni, Boland College is aware that some students are currently awaiting the issuance of their N4, N5, N6, L2, L3, or L4 certificates.
We want to clarify that these certificates are not printed or issued by Boland College. The printing, distribution, and release of certificates are managed centrally by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
Please note that the receipt of certificates by one college does not necessarily mean that all colleges have received theirs. Certificates are released to institutions at different times, and unfortunately, Boland College has no control over this process, nor can we provide a confirmed timeline for when outstanding certificates will be received.
As soon as the College receives certificates from DHET, the relevant campus will notify affected students directly via SMS with collection details.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we await further communication from DHET.
