FAKE PAGE ALERT | Beware of scams!

Students and prospective students are urged to be vigilant. Fake social media pages and individuals pretending to represent Boland College are circulating online. Especially messages with the number 0771071160.

Please remember:
• Boland College has only ONE official page, ONE official Instagram account and ONE official TikTok account. Always check that you are interacting with our official platforms.
• Boland College applications are FREE. No Boland College staff member will ever ask you to pay money to submit an application, process an application or “secure” a place at the College.
• Applications for the 2027 academic year closed on 2 September 2026. No staff member, agent or individual can reopen an application for you, guarantee acceptance or promise to “secure” you a seat in exchange for payment.
• Never share your personal information with suspicious pages or individuals. This includes your ID number, passwords, banking details, OTPs or other sensitive information.

If someone asks you for money, promises you a guaranteed place, or contacts you from a suspicious account claiming to represent Boland College: STOP and verify before you respond.

Fake pages can look convincing. A Boland College logo, photos of our campuses or copied posts do not make a page official.

BE VIGILANT. VERIFY THE PAGE. PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION. DON’T FALL FOR SCAMS. When in doubt, rather contact Boland College through our official communication channels before taking any action.

Your future is important. Don’t hand it, or your personal information, over to a scammer.

NSFAS 2027 | Applications are open!

Access to important information matters. As part of our commitment to inclusive and accessible communication, this video provides guidance on the NSFAS application process with South African Sign Language (SASL) support, helping to ensure that more students have access to the information they need to apply for funding. And inclusivity is also what Boland College is all about.

Applications opened on 18 September 2026 and will close on 31 October 2026.

Apply online via myNSFAS or the NSFAS App at www.nsfas.org.za.

If you are planning to study in 2027 and require financial assistance, don’t leave your application until the last minute. Apply before the closing date and remember to regularly track the progress of your application. Education should be accessible. Information should be too.

URGENT REQUEST | Boland College graduates and alumni students

Are you a Boland College graduate? Make sure we can reach you!

The Boland College Placement Department is having trouble contacting graduates when employment and placement opportunities become available. In some cases, graduates don't answer calls, while others have changed their contact numbers without updating their details with the College.

This is an important reminder: your contact details matter.

The College can only alert you to placement and employment opportunities if we are able to reach you. As a graduate, it is your responsibility to ensure that your contact information is accurate, current and updated with Boland College.

If your cell phone number or other contact details have changed, please make sure that the College has your latest information. You can inform the campus where you studied about your new details.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity simply because we can’t get hold of you.

Keep your details updated. Keep your opportunities open.
