Dear Mama, Dear Papa 🤍

If no one has told you lately… you’re doing a wonderful job.

The early mornings, the packed lunches, the school runs, the endless cuddles, the tears, the laughter, the bedtime stories, the worries, and the love you pour into your little ones every day — it all matters.

Your children don’t need a perfect parent.
They don’t need every minute of your day.

They need mama hugs. 🤍
They need papa cuddles. 🤍
They need moments where they feel safe, seen, loved, and connected.

So if today feels hard, take a deep breath. Overwhelm…

When you’re with them, give them your presence.
A few minutes of undivided attention, a cuddle on the couch, a silly game, a bedtime chat, or a warm hug can mean more than you know.

Big emotions are part of growing up.
Big emotions are part of parenting too.

Give yourself grace.
You’re learning, growing, and showing up alongside your child.

And that is more than enough.

💛

W-sitting is a sitting position we often see in young children — where their knees bend inward and their legs sit out to the sides in a “W” shape.

While it may feel stable and comfortable for some children, frequent W-sitting can sometimes make it harder to develop:
• core strength
• balance & coordination
• trunk rotation
• crossing the midline

That’s why we encourage children to explore a variety of sitting positions during play ⭐️

Some great alternatives include:
✔️ criss-cross sitting
✔️ long legs
✔️ tall knees

Small posture changes + lots of movement opportunities can go a long way in supporting strong, confident little bodies 💪🏼

Confidence is built one movement at a time! 💪🏼

Every jump, climb, balance, crawl, and obstacle teaches children so much more than just physical skills 🤸🏼‍♂️

Through movement, children learn:
✔️ resilience
✔️ independence
✔️ problem-solving
✔️ emotional regulation
✔️ “I can do hard things!”

At Jolly Tots Kinderkinetics, we use purposeful play and movement experiences to help children grow physically, emotionally, socially, and confidently 🌈

Because when children feel capable in their bodies… they begin to believe in themselves too 💫

Crawling is more important than many people realise ⭐️
It helps babies build strength, coordination, balance, body awareness, visual skills, and motor planning - all through movement and play.
Every baby develops at their own pace, but this milestone can support so many areas of later learning and development 💪🏼
