Interested in the basics of Earth Observation?

The Centre for Geographical Analysis is presenting an introductory short course on Earth Observation aimed at beginners who need instruction in the basic principles and techniques fundamental to remote sensing. The course can be completed online, with students signing up for a fully accredited or attendance only format, and will be running from 6 June to 29 July 2022.

Ever wished you had a fast way to get to campus that didn't cost you an arm or a leg? Use this guide to improve your knowledge on cycling in Stellenbosch.

This is one of numerous practical projects undertaken by students in the GIS for Social Science module presented in the Department. One small team (pictured) in the larger group of Honours students in this course addressed this issue through the following storyboard (https://bit.ly/3NiNcBH) as part of their training in visual communication of spatial data.
