Genetics Student Forum

Genetics Student Forum A space for Maties Post-Graduate Genetics and IPB Students. Post links to any related bloggers and other social media.

You can use this Page to post all sorts of interesting things from the newest scientific discoveries, musings on post-graduate life, writing your thesis, lab work, etc. Please share any suggestions on how to improve the GSF. We would like to expand our role from just the official mouthpiece to an active society involved in academic and social spheres. We would like to increase social awareness and participation among students and promote the endless benefits of genetic research for society. Please share and make our little community grow!

So how much do you know about IP, patenting and commercialisation? Are students and staff left in the dark about possible business opportunities? Any thoughts of including such training as part of an honors course?

Are any of you interested in attending a short in Bio-Entrepreneurship course from 19-23 September? Five IPB students have already registered. If more join then we can organise a car pool or something. Please check out the link for more info. Students pay half price!
