𝑊𝑒 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑒𝑒𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒!

The World Pythagorean Day Exhibition engaged Mathematics Education 377 students in creatively exploring and communicating the Pythagorean Theorem through interactive mathematical resources and public engagement. The project also promoted social responsibility through the donation of resources to low-resourced schools.

The International Day of Women in Mathematics (12 May) exhibition transformed the MATHS 277 module into a meaningful and socially responsive learning experience, where second-year students designed creative mathematical resources that celebrated women’s contributions to mathematics and STEM while developing their own communication and teaching skills. Through public engagement and the donation of resources to low-resourced schools, the project highlighted how mathematics education can foster conceptual understanding, creativity, social responsibility, and authentic community impact.
