Future Aesthetics Symposium | Intelligent Ageing

What an inspiring day spent at the Future Aesthetics Symposium hosted by Dr Nerina Wilkinson and Associates at the iconic Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel.

Guided by the elegance and authenticity of the host, makeup artist Renee de Wit, who shared her personal journey, we were reminded that aesthetics is so much more than treatment. It’s about transformation, understanding, and intention.

A powerful takeaway: We need to think in layers, not just treatments.

The journey of ageing is not something to fight, but to approach holistically, understanding that our skin is a living organ, not merely a decorative wrapping. True skin health means looking beneath the surface and supporting it at every level.

A particularly proud moment for us was witnessing one of our own students, Ludwe Mhlauli, a 2026 recipient of the Dr Nerina Wilkinson Scholarship, take to the stage. Currently completing her Advanced Diploma in Dermal Aesthetics, Ludwe shared her inspiring journey and how this scholarship has enabled her to pursue her dream of working alongside medical practitioners one day.
