National Teacher's Awards

Last night was a proud and memorable occasion for our school at the National Teaching Awards.

We are incredibly proud of our dedicated educators, Ms Paynter (Grade R) and Ms Williams (Grade 7), who were accompanied by Mr Isaacs to the awards ceremony.

🏆 Ms Paynter was awarded **1st Place – Excellence in Grade R Teaching**.
🏆 Ms Williams was awarded **1st Place – Best Teacher**.

Both teachers will now proudly represent the Cape Winelands District at the upcoming Provincial Teaching Awards.

Your passion, commitment and unwavering dedication to our learners and school community inspire us all. Thank you for the countless hours, care and excellence you invest every day. We celebrate this well-deserved recognition and wish you every success as you take the next step on this incredible journey.

🍳 Friday, 8 May: Mother’s Day Breakfast for Our Staff! 🥞

Behind every great school is a team of incredible women, and on Friday, 8 May, the men of Bruckner De Villiers Primary School made sure our staff felt the love just in time for Mother's Day weekend!

This wasn't just a regular morning—it was an "all-hands-on-deck" mission by all the men on our staff to create a beautiful celebration for our female colleagues.

🙌 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!
In the Kitchen: Our Principal, Mr. James, and Caretaker, Mnr. Graaff, traded their usual responsibilities for aprons, cooking up a delicious hot breakfast of seasoned tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs, and sausages.

On the Floor: The rest of the male team handled the details, setting up a gorgeous table complete with fresh flowers and a packet of Romany Creams at every seat.

❤️ Seeing our staffroom filled with smiles, laughter, and full plates was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. Thank you to all the men for their hard work and dedication to honoring the amazing mothers on our staff! ⭐🥞
