History Society outing to see the play 'Pieces of Me' at the Homecoming Centre in District Six. In the play, actor/writer Bo Petersen, who was classified white under apartheid, explores the history of her own family, torn apart when her father abandoned his family, classified coloured, to pass as white and marry a white woman.

At today's seminar Dr Patience Mususa from the Nordic Africa Institute spoke on 'From the Ground Up: Central Africa’s Copperbelt agenda for its minerals', a talk that connected historical, anthropological environmental and economic insights in addressing present challenges in the Copperbelt, a region that offers lessons for the continent and beyond.
