South Africa- on Friday past, some of our students that completed the first aid responder course led by Senpai Yaseen volunteered at the sports day of Alex Sinton High.

Ashihara Karate presents special classes for children from the age of 3 and upwards as well as for men and women on a twice weekly basis. Based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

South Africa - kyu promotions at Ashihara Karate. On Saturday students at the Ashihara Karate Plumstead Shibu had their first promotion test of the year.
Continual assessment is used where after those that comply are invited to test and then put through the rigours of a physical exam that includes push-ups, sit ups and squats – starting with 10 and increasing incrementally by 10 for each kyu level. Then its kihon, kata and kumite.
Generally, brown and black belt testing only happens at Summer Camp, but an exception was made for two young stalwarts who has been putting in time.
