🍎Happy National Teachers’ Day! 🍎

Today, we celebrate and honour the incredible teachers who give so much of themselves every single day. ❤️

To our wonderful teachers at Youth in Christ (Mrs Jansen, Miss Gouws and Miss Matutu) thank you for your hard work, dedication, patience, passion and commitment to our learners. You do far more than teach lessons — you encourage, inspire, guide, pray, support and help shape the young lives entrusted to us. 🙏📚

Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for continuing to pour into our learners and for helping them grow not only academically, but also in character and faith. 💙

“Let your light shine before others.” — Matthew 5:16

May God continue to bless you, strengthen you and give you wisdom as you carry out this incredibly important calling. 🙏

We appreciate you more than words can say!
💙💛 Happy National Teachers’ Day to our amazing Youth in Christ teaching team! 💛💙

🌸💦 SPRING DAY 2026 = A DAY WE WON’T FORGET! 💦🌸

What a FUN-FILLED Spring Day we had!🌸☀️

Our learners came dressed in their colourful civvies and, to make it even more fun, brought snacks to match their outfits! 🌈🍭🍿 There were some seriously creative combinations! 😂

And then… just when our learners thought the day was coming to an end… 😏

We told them to line up outside. 👀

They had NO IDEA what was coming! 😂💦

Suddenly… WATER BALLOONS EVERYWHERE! 🎈💦

What started as a little surprise turned into a FULL-ON water balloon war! And then somehow, buckets of water got involved… and before we knew it, EVERYONE was soaking wet! 🪣💦🤣

The laughter was absolutely contagious, and we honestly had WAY too much fun! 😂❤️

Of course, no Spring Day would be complete without ICE CREAMS! 🍦😋

Today was filled with colour, laughter, fun, friendship and memories that our learners (and teachers!) will definitely remember for a long time. 🌸💙

Sometimes the best school memories are made when we put the books down, let our hair down and simply HAVE FUN TOGETHER! 🥳

A huge thank you to everyone who made today so special! 🌸

Happy Spring Day from all of us at Youth in Christ Christian High School! 🌸💦🍦

GUEST SPEAKER COMING TO YOUTH IN CHRIST! 🎤

We are so excited to have a special guest speaker joining our learners on Friday, 4 September! 🙌💙

This is going to be an important and thought-provoking session as we look at some very real issues that young people face today — from a biblical perspective. 📖

📱 Screentime: The Attention Trap
🧠 What Does Screentime Do to the Brain?
💬 Murder by the Mouth & Screen
⚖️ The Law Aspect & Prison Sentence
❓ Plus, there will be a Q&A session where our learners can ask questions and engage in meaningful conversation.

At Youth in Christ, we believe that education is about more than just what happens in the classroom. Bringing guest speakers into our school gives our learners the opportunity to hear real-world experiences, ask difficult questions, think critically and connect their faith with the challenges they face every day.

Our goal is to equip our learners to make wise, responsible and Christ-centred choices in a world that is constantly changing. 🙏

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

We can’t wait for this powerful and meaningful session! 💙✨

BE INFORMED. BE EQUIPPED. BE TRANSFORMED.

🔬✨ A Day of Discovery & FUN! 🚀🧪

Our learners had an absolute blast today at the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre! 🎉 From fascinating experiments and mind-blowing discoveries to hands-on activities and plenty of “WOW!” moments, it was a day packed with learning, laughter and exploration. 🤩

It’s amazing to see our learners getting curious, asking questions, discovering new things and enjoying the world of science outside the classroom! 🌍🔍📚

A huge thank you to our wonderful teachers who made this fantastic outing possible! ❤️ We’re so proud of our learners and the enthusiasm they showed throughout the day!

THE HEART AND MIND OF A GRADE 8 LEARNER 💙

Grade 8 is more than just another school year. It is a significant transition where young people are discovering who they are, where they belong and who they want to become.

At this age, learners are becoming more independent, while still needing guidance, reassurance and strong boundaries. Their emotions can feel intense, friendships become increasingly important, and the pressure to fit in can be overwhelming. They are developing their identity, testing limits and learning how to make decisions for themselves. 🧠💭

That is why the adults who walk alongside them matter so much.

At Youth in Christ Christian School, our educators understand that we are not simply teaching subjects. We are investing in young lives. ❤️

We strive to provide quality education, academic excellence and a safe, structured environment, while also nurturing character, confidence, responsibility and compassion.

Most importantly, we want every learner to know that their worth is not determined by marks, popularity, mistakes or the opinions of others.

They are created with purpose. They are loved. They matter to God.

Our greatest desire is to use every opportunity we have as educators to point our learners towards Jesus Christ and the hope of His salvation, while equipping them academically and practically for the future.

Because education should shape more than a learner’s mind — it should help shape their heart, character and destiny. ✝️💙

Youth in Christ Christian School — educating minds, building character, leading young lives to Christ.
