We teach sounds, how to blend sounds into words, sight words and short reading activities to develop comprehension.

We identify important skills that can influence reading and learning, allowing areas needing support to be addressed early.

📖 Reading Classes – R600 per month
• 40 minutes weekly

From Book Week to International Literacy Day!

For the past week, we celebrated the magic of books, the stories that make us laugh, imagine, wonder and dream.

Today, on International Literacy Day, we celebrate something even bigger: the ability to read and understand them.

At Tina Cowley Reading Centre, this is why we do what we do. Because reading is more than words on a page, it builds confidence, creates opportunities and gives children the foundation to keep learning and growing.
