🚌✨ Our learners had a ROAR-some day at Lory Park Zoo! 🦁🐒🦓
From spotting their favourite animals to exploring with friends, it was a day full of laughter, learning, and memories 🌼💛

❓Riddle time:
I’m not a bird, but I can fly,
At night I swoop across the sky.
Who am I? 🐾🦇

Our little artists in Grade R to Grade 3 had so much fun bringing their ideas to life this week 🎨✨

🕷️ Spiders made with ice cream sticks
🐞 Insects with finger painting
🍦 Ice creams from paper and sticks
🏠 Houses built from paper towel rolls (part of Grade R’s 3D assessment!)

Art is more than just craft time. It helps children experiment, solve problems, and express themselves in ways words can’t always capture. Watching them imagine, create, and proudly show off their work reminds us why creativity matters 💕

🌸 Spring Day at BCA 🌸
Our learners had such a joyful day. Making their own pizzas in the pizza oven, building Lego flower pots, planting real flowers, and creating a colourful sweet salad together. We ended it all with a picnic full of laughter and sunshine. 🌞🍕🌷🍬

Over the past three weeks, our Grade RR to 3 learners have created some amazing art 🎨✨ From colourful rockets 🚀 to a garden of good manners 🌸, every piece shows their creativity and hard work.

Did you know art helps kids build problem-solving skills, fine motor control, and confidence? 💡✋ It also helps them see the world in new ways. Watching their ideas come to life reminds us how important art is for growing curious, confident kids.

🥪 SANDWICH DRIVE 2025: SPREADING KINDNESS 🕊️

Today, our amazing tutors and learners got busy in the kitchen, making sandwiches with heart as part of the Nelson Mandela 60 Minutes of Service 💛

From spreading peanut butter and jam to stacking slices, the energy was all about teamwork, kindness, and giving back 🍞❤️

A huge thank you to our parents for your generous contributions. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!

🗣️💭 Debating in Afrikaans? Challenge accepted!

Our Grade 7 learners stepped up to tackle the thought-provoking topic: "Does the news influence our lives?" — all during their daily oral session. 🇿🇦🎤

These 30-minute sessions aren't just about speaking — they're about building confidence, critical thinking, and language skills, one conversation at a time.

From respectful disagreements to powerful points, it’s amazing to see how debate sharpens minds and strengthens voices — even in a second language! 💬✨
