Just delivered this Springbok slippie to my friend Francois Nell who took these stunning photo's for me.

This is not the last one for 2024 as I am working on a Loveless type City Knife that will be the last one for 2024.

It is always nice if you get feedback and the knife you made years ago did its work.

I made this knife for a friend here in the free Republic of Namaqualand who happens to have a farm. He is old school and apply a mark by cutting the ears of the lambs as they did all these years in the sheep farming trade. These days the apply a tattoo inside the lip as required by law but he keep applying his marks. Tradition is not wiped out by a law.

As you can see this knife did a lot of cutting and this guy does not don gloves to use the knife. I did replace his knife earlier in the year bur I think he just carry that to Church.
