OneVoice27: Mission for All is a worldwide Seventh-day Adventist evangelistic initiative designed to unite the global Church around one central mission: lifting up Jesus Christ and sharing the everlasting gospel with the world.
It was presented to the 2025 Annual Council and accepted by the Church's leadership. The worldwide emphasis will culminate in September 2027, approximately 2,000 years after Jesus' baptism and the beginning of His public ministry.
What does “OneVoice27” mean?
The name expresses the idea that the worldwide Adventist Church—members, pastors, churches, institutions, ministries and media platforms—should work together with one voice and one purpose in proclaiming Jesus.
The official initiative describes its central purpose as lifting up “Jesus, the Messiah and soon-coming King” as revealed through Scripture.
It is therefore not simply another evangelistic programme. Church leaders describe it as a global mobilisation of the entire membership.
The three major dimensions
1. Spiritual preparation
Members are encouraged to prepare spiritually through:
Prayer
Bible study
Reflection on the life of Christ
Study of Daniel and Revelation
Reading The Desire of Ages
Personal spiritual renewal
The official OneVoice27 material particularly encourages believers to contemplate the life and ministry of Christ as preparation for sharing Him with others.
2. Every member becomes a missionary
OneVoice27 is strongly connected with Total Member Involvement. The idea is that evangelism should not belong only to pastors and professional evangelists.
A member can participate through:
Personal witnessing
Bible studies
Small groups
Community service
Literature distribution
Evangelistic meetings
Social media
Video production
Podcasts
Photography
Music
Digital evangelism
This is particularly significant because the Church recognises that many people today encounter Christianity first through their phones and digital platforms.
3. A global evangelistic harvest in September 2027
The culmination will be a coordinated worldwide evangelistic emphasis in September 2027. Local churches and institutions will contextualise the initiative according to their communities, while remaining connected to the worldwide movement.
The official launch is very soon
The global launch is scheduled for Sabbath, 5 September 2026. This begins approximately 12 months of prayer, preparation and mission, leading to the September 2027 worldwide emphasis.
This means that September 2026–September 2027 is essentially a preparation and mobilisation period, rather than waiting until 2027 to begin evangelism.
What about the digital component?
Digital evangelism is one of the most distinctive aspects of OneVoice27.
The initiative encourages Adventists to use every available medium to communicate the gospel. The official material specifically envisions the Church using both Church-operated media and member-driven media.
This means that a young Adventist making a 60-second video about Jesus, a pastor preaching online, a church running a Bible-study WhatsApp group, an institution producing documentaries, or a member sharing a testimony on social media can all contribute to the same global mission.
