🐾❄️ WINTER MESSY PLAY FUN ❄️🐾

Our learners had SO much fun with a winter sensory activity called “Saving the Animals from the Slimy Monster!” 🫧🐻🐘

We placed little animals inside a bowl filled with shaving cream slime, and the children used doctor syringes to spray and wash the animals clean! 🩺💦

This fun activity was not only exciting, but also helped develop so many important skills:

✨ Fine motor skills – squeezing and controlling the syringe
✨ Hand-eye coordination
✨ Finger strength for future writing skills
✨ Sensory exploration and tolerance
✨ Imaginative play and problem solving
✨ Focus and concentration
✨ Language development through play and conversation
✨ Cause and effect learning

Messy play is such an important part of learning, especially during the colder winter days when indoor sensory activities keep little minds busy and engaged 🩵
