The SASAA Committee would like to remind all schools that the deadline for final submissions to host the 2021 edition of the SASAA Conference is Friday 5 February 2021.
In terms of a formal submission we would encourage any prospective host school to provide a brief overview addressing the following important factors that will be considered when appointing a conference host:
Brief overview of the school
Proposed dates that would suit the host
Venue(s)
Accessibility in terms of travel
Accommodation options
Estimate of cost
Thoughts relating to speakers and themes (the final program will be determined in consultation with the SASAA Committee)
Any additional support or assistance required (with the support of AlumNet all correspondence and bookings will be centralised via the AlumNet platform)
Please also indicate whether you will have the capacity to present the conference as a virtual / online offering should Covid prevent the hosting of a live conference as was the case in 2020.
Any enquiries can be directed to Robyn Gruijters at [email protected]
