🌿 2027 spaces now available 🌿
Some of our senior students are now completing their final Cambridge exams 🎓, which means a small number of spaces are opening at Growth & Grit for next year.

We are an autism-specific high-school learning centre in Somerset West, offering a calm, structured and nurturing environment where teens can work towards internationally recognised Cambridge qualifications, with pathways that can include university exemption.

If your teen would benefit from a smaller, more individualised setting with specialist support, we’d love to welcome you for a visit and show you around.

Limited spaces available for 2027.

Here at the Growth & Grit Educentre we are so grateful for what’s been an incredibly successful year, on all fronts! Academically our students are excelling, taking on the Cambridge exams with confidence. We are so proud of their efforts, motivation and “can-do” attitude. We are not results driven, BUT, the excellent results do show that what we are doing IS WORKING! Congratulations to our students on these fantastic results!!

🌟 A one-of-a-kind learning space for autistic teens 🌟

At Growth & Grit Educentre, we’re not just supervising students — we’re teaching them.

We’re qualified UK and SA high school teachers with post-graduate Autism training, and we bring over 20 years of experience to our small, focused learning centre.

We offer a calm, nurturing, and structured space where autistic teens can truly thrive — both academically and emotionally. By combining the internationally recognised British curriculum with an individualised, flexible approach, we provide direct, hands-on teaching that builds on each student’s strengths while gently supporting areas of challenge.

Our teens work hard, achieve fantastic results, and grow into confident, independent learners — often far beyond what’s possible in mainstream or purely online setups.

💡 Here’s what we do well:
✅ Our environment is calm, spacious, and structured
✅ All resources included: workbooks, textbooks, stationery & iPads
✅ A variety of subject choices and individualised learning plans
✅ Flexibility in how students learn and show their progress
✅ A comfortable setting with break-out spaces for regulation and rest

💙 A space where learning makes sense — and where students are truly seen.

A comment from one of our students!
At Growth & Grit Educentre, mental health is a big focus as most of our students have faced many challenges and obstacles in their previous schools, both from peers and teaching staff. It is our aim to create an environment where the teens can feel confident to pursue their goals and develop their skills!

A comment from one of our students!
We encourage our neurodiverse students to develop their identities, get to know their strengths and find strategies to navigate their difficulties. We love seeing them taking initiative and ownership of their learning!
