Even though the end is in sight, we must still allow November to be November.
This year has been crazy, filled with so much joy and hard work. I am indeed looking forward to a nice holiday!
One thing I learned this year is that I need to allow a moment to have its moment and not wish it away. Everything needs to happen in order for YOU to happen. Allow this time to set goals and build into the person you are meant to be.
Enjoy November❤️

Do you think drawing is important? There are most definitely benefits of drawing. Some are improving fine motor skills, cerebral, communication and mental health benefits.
This week we had a wonderful opportunity to learn different drawing techniques.
How it started: I asked my learner to draw still life objects, the first photo I asked him to do shading. I did not teach him anything here, I wanted to first see what he could do. In my opinion, he did well! (Always praise, as it will boost them to try again)
How it ended: I taught him different techniques, where to shade, what angles to look at. And man did he do well! So proud.
Do you allow your child to bake or cook with you?
According to they found that children who help in the kitchen, cooking helps create ownership which helps to shift their perception and relationship with food.
Yes it can become very messy, but they can then help us to clean up, which then teaches them role of responsibility. Don't you just love the sound of laughter? It is the best medicine in the world.
stated 7 skills children learn through cooking:
1. Explore their senses.
2. Expand their palates.
3. Gain sense of accomplishment.
4. Making healthy choices.
5. Responsibly.
6. Communication skills.
7. Basic maths and science.
How wonderful is it know that you can teach your children more than 7 different things just by making a salad 🥗 or a cup of tea☕.
Enjoy this time you have, it is a wonderful gift.
