The Chatterpix app is an amazing tool that allows you to bring any object to life. Simply take a photo of an object, draw a line to make a mouth, and record your voice to animate the object. In an iSchoolAfrica programme school in the Northern Cape, the Grade 3 learners used the ChatterPix App to explore the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. Learners take pictures of different shapes, and then use the app to make the shapes talk and share their unique attributes.
Thank you to Roggeveld Wind Farm, Laingsburg, Western Cape and Wind Academy for giving learners this opportunity to access digital technology and learn foundational concepts in an exciting way.
The iSchoolAfrica Numeracy & Literacy iPad programme addresses the ongoing basic skills crisis facing SA schools through a combination of iPad technology, interactive curriculum-relevant software and teacher training.

The World Youth Skills Day serves as a crucial tool for bridging the skills mismatch and creating more opportunities for young people to participate in the country's economic growth. World Youth Skills Day is observed annually on July 15th.
