Op Vrydag 8 Mei het die VRL en Prefekte van Gordon elke dame op die perseel met 'n geskenkie verras vir Moedersdag, Sondag 10 Mei. Die handgeskrewe kaartjie vir elke personeellid - onderwysers sowel as ondersteuningspersoneel - het dit ekstra spesiaal gemaak.

Die 'boom' in die boonste en onderste gang waar elke leerder vir 'n damespersoneellid 'n 'blaar' van waardering kon plak, getuig van die impak en omgee van ons vroulike personeel.

Baie dankie aan hierdie wonderlike inisiatief van die prefekte en VRL om ons so te bederf!

On Friday 8 May the RCL and prefects of Gordon spoilt every female member of staff with a gift for Mothers Day on 10 May. The handwritten note that accompanied every gift made it extra special.

The 'tree' in the bottom and top corridor where learners could paste a 'leaf' of appreciation is testament to the impact and care of every lady on our staff.

Thank you the the prefects and RCL for this wonderful initiative to spoil us on this special day!

Hul optrede op die veld maak ons net so trots soos hul oorwinnings.

Ons wens hul voorspoed toe vir die res van die seisoen.

Our U 19A rugby team is still unbeaten in their league!

Their conduct on the field makes us just as proud as their victories.

As gevolg van die ongure weer die afgelope week, kon die deelnemers nie genoegsaam voorberei nie.
Die geleentheid word dus uitgestel tot vroeg in kwartaal 3.

Indien u reeds 'n kaartjie gekoop het, sal dit steeds geldig wees vir toegang op die aand.

Because of the inclement weather the past week, the contestants could not prepare fully for this event.
We are forced to postpone to early in term 3.

If you have already purchased a ticket, it will still be valid for entrance on the evening.

Gordon is 14 Mei gesluit vir die viering van Hemelvaartdag.

Vrydag 15 Mei hervat alle klasse soos normaal. Alle leerders moet teenwoordig wees om goed voor te berei vir die naderende Junie eksamen.

Gordon is closed on 14 May for the observance of Ascension Day.

All classes continue as normal on Friday 15 May. All learners need to be present in order to prepare well for the June examination that starts in two weeks.

The WCED has confirmed that ALL schools are closed on Tuesday 12 May. Learners must return to school on Wednesday 13 May.

Please ensure that your child is warm and safe. All learners, but especially our matriculants, are asked to use the day at home to study and prepare for the rapidly approaching June examinations.
