Rocket on the road again after quick technical pitstop in PE. New v belt, engine start battery, new battery cable cramped and fitted. Record time. Boats crew of Hunter, Josh and Alan did a sterling job with refueling, sorting boat and getting us underway. Next stop slummies.

Stunning moon rise last night. Again it's been an evening of motor sailing, this morning no different. We have the gybe preventer on the main to help keep it from slatting around. Again delivery mode hence the 2 reefs. I like to leave a roll or two on the headsail, just to prevent any foil screws etc coming out and any potential damage to the headsail. Heading to Mosselbay to refuel. Then 01h00 departure tomorrow morning once a quick nasty easterly has blown through. Then get to PE, and hope we can get to EL before that seriously nasty westerly front rolls through. Sustained 35 and gusts to 48. Wind against current. Not a great idea. Will check in at MB again.
