This Mandela Day, our Curro Preschool families are joining hands to spread warmth, one preloved outfit at a time. Each donation tells a beautiful story of generosity, teaching our children that kindness is a gift we can share every day.

We are incredibly proud of our under 12 and under 13 netball teams who represented our school at the Challenger Cup in Middelburg recently.

Both teams played four matches, showing exceptional sportsmanship, determination, and teamwork throughout the day. Competing against larger schools, our girls stepped onto the courts with true Curro spirit and made us proud. 💙💛

On Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating our amazing dads in the foundation phase (Grade R–3)! 👨‍👧‍👦✨

Our learners were proud to have their dads visit! 💫

What an exciting day on the course for our grade 1 - 3 learners! From the starting whistle to the finish line, our young runners showed incredible energy, perseverance, and enthusiasm. 🌟

Congratulations to the top 3 boys and top 3 girls in each grade who have earned their place on the Cross Country team for term 3 – we are so proud of you and can’t wait to see you represent our school! 🏅

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐍𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐚, one of our grade 9 learners.

Anna was a cherished member of our school community, and her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. 🌹

We extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Anna’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Nurse at the preschool, 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐧, on completing the Comrades Marathon - an extraordinary achievement! 👏

𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚: 💬
"Starting with the national anthem, Shozoloza and Chariots of Fire, followed by the rooster crow and the firing of the canon - it was a moment that set the tone for an incredible journey. As runners moved forward, the ground trembled, flames rose, and the energy was unmatched."

From there, the 85,77 km journey unfolded, filled with water points, cheering supporters, and unforgettable moments. Even after a fall at 42 km, Michelle pushed through with determination, proving the power of resilience.

At the final stretch, it became a battle of mind over body - and her strength carried her through to the finish line, running strong to the very end.
