Day 47/66

Today I decided to take a rest day.

After one heck of a weekend of camping for the first time and going for our engagement shoot, I was exhausted.
I did not want to bring that exhaustion into my training session and figured I deserved a much needed break.

It was most welcome.

And that made me realise that it’s not always good to just going to push, push, push. Sometimes a moment, to take that deep breathe, pause and exhale again can just reshuffle your energies again ⚡️

What other ways do you guys use to not be in such a constant pattern of motion all the time?

My evening skincare routine must end off on a high and I can only think of .africa Crème de la Cream to fulfil this role 🧴

It has been my go to staple to provide my skin with so much good moisture ever since being a 💧

Day 45/66 (delayed post d/t being off-grid)

My first experiencing camping was absolutely epic. There’s defs more content coming through (when my friends decide to share it 👀)

The reason I decided to post these particular pics was because of the comments my friends made regarding my physique. They appreciated the shape and how lean I was 💪🏽

I completed the NPL body rev 7.0 challenge at the end of November last year, where I was super dedicated to meal prepping and planning, weighing out my food, avoiding unplanned meals and generally being way more conscious of the foods I was consuming. Once the competition had ended, I took a less strict approach to my diet but still continued the basic fundamentals - eat whole foods as much as possible and train hard AF. Now several months later, I’m still able to maintain that physique.

made me realise the importance of sticking to your fitness goals even though no one else can see those changes. I told her that you can have the best training and diet plan ever but if you aren’t committed to them then you simply won’t get the results you desire. I hope this can be used as a motivation to show you that success is just a result of consistent consistency 🤓

I wonder if it’s against the unspoken code of the medical professional, especially doctors, to even be talking about these fruits given they might impact my “business” ‘cause as the saying goes, “an apple a day, keeps the doctor away” 🍎👨🏾‍⚕️🤣

But on the other hand, apples are such a simple fruit to eat and comes in such varieties to satisfy all taste profiles, from the tart Granny Smith to the sweet Crispy Red. 🍏🍎

Packed with Vitamin C and fibre it may help with immune system boosts and improved gut health

Which apple variant is your favorite?

(PS, I think I may have tagged the wrong apple 😐)

I think I may throw up a set after having eaten this great burger! 🍔😂

It’s First Thursday (and SONA) today so if you are able to weave your way to Sea Point you should definitely pop into .

A relatively new kid on the block but still managing to provide quality products by focusing on just 2 burger options. Less choice, means more focus on delivering a good burger. Probably the crispiest smash burger I’ve had so far.

Day 34/66

And just like that, I’m halfway through the 66 day challenge 🌗

It’s been a pretty good experience so far. My biggest takes so far is being intentional with the things I do. Being intentional at the gym, being intentional at work, being intentional with my friends, being intentional with my relationship. I think this allows for better focus and a better product/outcome at the end of the day 💯

This quote is so fitting because in order to conceptualize any form of change, it has to start with the idea of it. Once the idea is there, it can slowly become an actionable that can be quantifiable.

Whether that be spending more time with friends, getting extra kilometres in your next run, losing that extra kgs. If you believe it, you CAN achieve it 🙌🏾
