Building skills for the future at Sedibeng TVET College through merSETA Skills Development Provider's Forum!
The lecture hall at Sedibeng TVET College, Vanderbijlpark Campus, was filled with Skills Development Providers (SDPs) for an engaging information-sharing session hosted by the merSETA Quality Assurance and Administration Team in collaboration with the Gauteng South Regional Office.
The session provided valuable updates on key ETQA processes, including the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA), the final assessment for occupational qualifications registered on the Occupational Qualifications Sub-Framework (OQSF) in South Africa. Discussions also covered SDP accreditation, assessor and moderator registration, mentor registration, workplace approval, and other quality assurance processes shaping the occupational qualifications landscape.
Through meaningful discussions and knowledge sharing, stakeholders strengthened their understanding of quality assurance requirements and reaffirmed their commitment to delivering high-quality skills development initiatives.
