SENIORS DEBUT

Makhethe Thrower Academy girls, Danika Roets (u20) and Lijane Jansen van Rensburg (u18) made their 1st appearance at the SA Seniors today in Stellenbosch.

Lijane finished 6th in a new PB of 49.64m and Danika wrapped up the duos campaign in 7th with a 44.45m performance.

We're proud of our girls as they gear up to finish the season in Pilditch at the SA Schools Champs

The was well represented with their outstanding performances in the Top 50 with Coach Tshepang Makhethe leading the charge.
Marno Peter Geyser was 2nd with his new PB on the day.
Matthew finished 4th on the list - still chasing his Q for the u20 global showpiece
Lynn-Mari Louw showed up on the list in 22nd just shy of 50m
And Danika Roets capping off the Tribe's appearance in 43rd, some numbers shy of her PB
