Our founder and Managing Director, Astrid Straussner, has over 20 years of experience in the engineering training field and holds a Masters Degree in Science and Technology. We are associated with various engineering and academic bodies and have developed a MERSETA and QCTO accredited Institute Of Technology, registered with SAIMC, SAIEE, and SACE. We are proud to be a Level 4 B-BBEE start-up, specializing in engineering consulting and training services, with a focus on industrial automation. Our Institute Of Technology is supported by ElectroMechanica, a specialized direct importer and wholesale distributor of industrial switchgear, including automation products such as the Delta industrial automation range. At PMIT, we are committed to delivering quality Mechatronics education and training that meets the needs of our students and industry partners. Our state-of-the-art training facility in Johannesburg with additional campuses now operational in Cape Town provides a conducive environment for our learnership programs, which are designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the ever-evolving world of Mechatronics.
