🎉 Congratulations to Botswana’s newest CFA charterholders!

We are delighted to celebrate Bubuya Ncube, CFA; Keboetswe Letsholo, CFA; Oratile Molatlhegi, CFA; and Teko Mmolawa, CFA on this outstanding achievement.

It was particularly wonderful to see three women receive their CFA charters, an encouraging reflection of the growing representation of women within the investment profession in Botswana and across our region.

We are proud to welcome all four charterholders to the global CFA community and celebrate this significant milestone in their professional journeys.

The Botswana celebration forms part of a series of CFA charterholder recognition events across the SADC region, as we recognise and welcome our newest CFA charterholders.

The investment industry has always demanded the best. More and more, the best are women.

Most people find the CFA Program. Sometimes it finds you.

Quintine Mkhondo, CFA, earned his actuarial science degree at 19, one of the youngest to come through the programme, with a postgrad in mathematical statistics to follow. Then the charter. His path has been pointing in one direction from the start.

Today, he's an Investment Research Analyst. It's a job that rewards scepticism, patience and the ability to sit with a hard question for longer than is comfortable.

This is a story worth watching.

CFA Institute Access Scholarship Applications are still Open!

Ready to take the next step towards becoming a CFA charterholder?

The CFA Institute Access Scholarship provides eligible candidates with the opportunity to pursue the CFA Program at a significantly reduced registration fee.

Applications are now open for the May 2027 CFA Program examinations – Levels I and II.

Key dates:
Applications open: 12 August 2026
Applications close: 1 September 2026
Decision date: 25 September 2026
