Q: What does “accredited” actually mean?

A: It means the training provider and programme have met the requirements of the relevant quality assurance body.

Accredited provider: The provider is approved to deliver specific qualifications or programmes. Accreditation details can be verified through the relevant SETA or QCTO.

SAQA-registered qualification: The qualification is registered on South Africa’s National Qualifications Framework, making it nationally recognised.

Verifiable achievement: Once successfully completed and formally recorded, a learner’s achievement can be independently verified through the relevant national systems.

Not all training is accredited, and not every course leads to a registered qualification. TLO is accredited across multiple SETAs, with accreditation details available for independent verification.
