Our Preschool celebrated Father's Day with Soccer Starz, and what a day it was! From training drills to spectacular goals, our little players and their dads embraced the World Cup spirit and took to the field with enthusiasm.💙

A special shout-out to our superhero dads, who arrived ready to play and certainly brought their A-game! The laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition made for a truly memorable celebration.

What a wheel-y wonderful way to celebrate World Bike Day!🚴🏽‍♂️

Our children and parents joined us for a morning filled with cycling, movement, and fun as we partnered with Planet Fitness to get active together.

The highlight of the day wasn't just the bikes, it was seeing parents and children laughing, encouraging one another, and creating special memories together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a success. Here's to healthy habits, active lifestyles, and moments that bring our King's family closer together! 💙

A huge shoutout to our Head of Culture, Sonia Mudzi, for directing and producing our incredible One Act Play for the FEDA One Act Play Festival.

Our learners absolutely owned the stage, delivering a powerful, fully learner-led production that left a lasting impression on audiences and industry professionals alike. The choreography received exceptional praise, with adjudicators noting its similarity to work produced by professional South African choreographers. Combined with striking visuals and compelling physical theatre, the performance showcased the incredible power of storytelling without limits.

What makes this achievement even more special is that our learners were at the heart of the creative process, bringing passion, courage, and originality to every moment.

Our FET learners recently enjoyed an incredible Visual Arts workshop that challenged them to think differently, create boldly, and explore new artistic possibilities.

A special thank you to Mrs Judge, Head of Visual Arts, for leading such an engaging and enriching session. Her passion for the arts and dedication to our learners made the experience truly memorable.

Opportunities like these are invaluable in helping young artists develop their skills, confidence, and creative voice. We are grateful for the continued support in growing our Visual Arts department and nurturing the next generation of creatives. 💙🖌️

The World Cup excitement has arrived in our Primary School!⚽🌍

As part of the celebrations, each teacher randomly selected a country out of a hat and transformed their classroom door into a vibrant tribute to that nation. The result? A colourful showcase of creativity, culture, and football fever!

While we’ve enjoyed learning about countries from around the world, our biggest cheers are reserved for our very own Bafana Bafana. 💚💛

We are incredibly proud of our national team and the spirit, determination, and unity they inspire. The entire King's family is behind you!

A story that stayed with us long after the curtain closed.

Last week, our learners took to the stage at FEDA at the Lesedi Theatre with their original production, Between Us.

Through striking physical theatre, powerful freeze frames, and the story of the Knowles family, the play explored the different ways people experience and respond to trauma. Thought-provoking, emotional, and beautifully performed, it challenged audiences to reflect on how our circumstances shape us and whether they define us.

We are incredibly proud of our talented cast and crew for delivering a performance filled with courage, creativity, and heart. 🧩💙
